Admission Requirements

Eligibility for admission to this program is based on applicants meeting all advertised eligibility requirements, or satisfying the requirements of an approved non-standard admission pathway.

The University of Southern Queensland accepts a range of qualifications to determine eligibility for admission. These include, but are not limited to, Australian senior secondary qualifications (such as the QCE or HSC), overseas senior secondary qualifications (such as GCE-A Levels), prior tertiary studies, prior TAFE/VET studies, work experience, and completed enabling programs.

Recognition of Prior Learning for Credit

If you have prior work or other life experience or have studied previously, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning (RPL) for credit. Credit can help reduce your tuition fees, study load and the time it takes to complete your degree.

Program Rules

The Graduate Certificate of Business Administration consists of four units of postgraduate courses. Courses are offered in intensive teaching periods of 8 weeks with 6 teaching periods per year. Students can commence their studies in block 1, 3 or 5. MBA8001 Leveraging Your Leadership Identity must be taken in the first Teaching Period of study. Students can elect to take the remaining 3 courses in any order with the choice of course dependant on the period of teaching a student wishes to enrol in.
