This zero-credit point course is used for administrative purposes to record the student's result for the Literacy test for LANTITE. The result for this course is used to address the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) accreditation requirement that all initial teacher education students possess personal literacy and numeracy skills in the top 30 per cent of the population, prior to graduation from their program.

SynopsisThis administrative course is not a taught course. Students may sit the LANTITE tests before admission to the program or at any time during their program. However, students are encouraged to register and attempt the test within their first year of study. Students must successfully complete LANTITE to progress through, and to graduate, from this program. Evidence of the Literacy test result is received directly from ACER which is used to process an outcome for this course.

Assessments
Assessment due dates (as listed in Week Due) are indicative until finalised by the end of Week 1 for each Study Period (Offering). After Week 1, Assessment due dates may change with the approval of the Dean (Academic) or Delegate in limited circumstances. All Assessment due date changes approved after Week 1 will be communicated to students accordingly via Handbook and StudyDesk.
