This innovative major is unique in Australia and designed for those who are passionate about building a career in design in any discipline. You&#39;ll gain highly sought after skills in foresight, systems thinking and design thinking and use these to conduct a design project in an area that you are passionate about. Emphasising holistic problem-solving and ethical considerations, this major equips students with the skills to develop solutions across industries.
You will engage in transdisciplinary learning, integrating knowledge and methodologies from various fields to create human-centered and ethical design solutions. You&#39;ll develop a portfolio to demonstrate your advanced skills and assist you as you embark in your career. Careers that this major are linked to include roles such as UX/UI designer, policy advisor, industrial designer, HR personnel, social surveying expert, instructional designer, evaluator, Syntec Design expert, creative arts professional, public health strategist, spatial designer, information architect, content strategist, business entrepreneur, environmental graphic designer, wayfinding designer, product designer, design manager, furniture designer, change maker, media editor, and other professions requiring trans-disciplinary design capabilities.
